Sorted for E's and Whizz
Oh is this the way they say the future's meant to feel?
Or just twenty thousand people standing in a field?
Whizzing at 60mph past the site of Homelands festival outside Winchester.
And you wanna call your mother and say, "Mother,
I can never come home again because I seem to have left
an important part of my brain somewhere in a field in Hampshire. Alright

Fore!
Off to the golf. The BMW Championship at Wentworth. Managed to snaffle a corporate pass to the hospitality suite. Plied with booze and food, I found I needed a long walk in the afternoon. Made it out to the 13th green where I picked up the grouping of the day - Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie and new wonder, Luke Donald. Followed them back to the clubhouse, recovered with a few more beers. Great day!

Festival of Britain
The Royal Festival Hall is the last remnant of the post-war Festival of Britain. Apart from being home to a couple of orchestras, the RFH hosts a whole range of concerts including the usually excellent Meltdown series, curated this year by Patti Smith.
The RFH is undergoing renovation. Hopefully, it won't lose its quaint 1950s feel.

Red House
A visit to William Morris's Red House in Bexleyheath: a nice sunny afternoon. Morris, of course, is famous for wallpaper. But, Red House when built featured none of his designs. That facet of his work came later in life.

North Yorks Moors - 3
The Donut was in (on?) the North Yorkshire Moors over the weekend. Lucky viewer: the one a day Donut snapshot rule goes for a Burton.
Locals were a bit grim.
A short walk. That's our hotel in the distance.
Walkies.
Beck Hole.

Wild flowers.
A hard earned pint!
Get's some clothes on that (naked) tree!
